Little Homesteader for a Day
A day at Moinhos for little hands and curious minds.
Come and spend the day outside with us. We’ll meet the chickens, collect eggs, see what is growing in the garden and look for something ready to harvest.
There may be seeds to plant, herbs to smell, vegetables to pick or a small job that little hands can help with. But a day here is not only about helping. There is a playground to discover, a swing, animals to visit, little walks by the river and plenty of space to run, play and get muddy.
We take breaks when needed, sit down for a simple seasonal vegetarian lunch and leave plenty of time for playing, exploring and being outdoors together.
There is no fixed programme — we follow the season, the weather and the children’s curiosity.

Tell us your preferred date and the children’s ages, and we’ll see what is possible.
Time
A full day at Moinhos, usually around 10am–4pm.
Whats included
A seasonal vegetarian lunch, coffee (parents!), tea and drinking water, and everything we use or make together during the day.
